Compass Mental Health
Overview
Compass is a province-wide service that supports healthcare and community care providers in British Columbia and the Yukon who are working with children and youth experiencing mental health or substance use concerns. It is not a direct service for youth or families, but it helps your local provider access expert guidance so you can receive the best care close to home.
How Compass Helps
Compass provides clinical consultation to your healthcare provider, offering support with diagnostic clarification, medication questions, treatment planning, and navigating mental health and substance use care options. This helps your provider feel more confident and equipped to support you or your child.
Who It Serves
Compass supports physicians, nurses, school counsellors, mental health clinicians, and other community care providers working with children and youth up to age 25.
