KUU-US Crisis Line Society

Overview

KUU-US Crisis and Care Society provides 24-hour crisis support for individuals in the Port Alberni area and for Indigenous communities across British Columbia. Each call is assessed to determine the most appropriate level of support.

How They Help

Supports callers with a non-judgmental listening ear and practical problem-solving to help them return to a pre-crisis state. Debriefing services are also available for frontline workers who have experienced difficult or traumatic incidents.

Services are available to adults, Elders, children and youth, Métis callers, and Indigenous community members across BC.
